About this course

This course is designed to help you meet the Minnesota legislative guidelines for school library media centers. Through this course, we will cover key aspects outlined by the state to ensure that your school library is fully equipped to support the academic and personal growth of students.

Although this course is created for school administrators and library staff of all types, classroom teachers will find useful information here as well. (There are student and teacher library resources!)

By the end of this course, you will achieve the following:

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the descriptors set by Minnesota for school library media centers.
• Receive tools that can be directly applied to your school library to meet state language as well as promote a culture of reading and learning among students.
